BRAVES BLANK SAINTS

PEMBROKE, NC: The Limestone College men's soccer team (2-2-1) was defeated by UNC Pembroke (3-2-1) on Saturday.  the Braves bested the Saints 4-0.

UNCP started hot and did not look back.  Jose Sanchez scored just over six minutes into the contest, and, a minute and a half later, Sanchez found Tuncay Dilek for another goal.  The Braves led 3-0 at the half and added a fourth goal in the 47th minute.

Head Coach Eric Alsop was disappointed with the loss.  "We came out flat, and they jumped on us.  Hopefully we can rebound and be ready for Anderson."

The Saints will open CVAC play when they host Anderson on Wednesday, September 14.  That game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saints Field and will be preceded by a women's game.
